Piece of Fabulous Friday – Flexible Speaker for iPhone

Ok so this is a cool one, one piece of fabulous that I’m going to find very useful in my office. The Flexible Speaker for the iPhone, designed by Chun-Chieh Yang with Yanko Design is, well, a flexible speaker for the iPhone. This origami-like speaker plugs into your iPhone and lies flat on your desk or work surface. Say goodbye to big bulky speakers, this little gem emits the same quality and volume while taking up much less space. Leaving all that extra space on your desk for your growing collection of Apple products (iPad, iPhone 4, etc). Here’s the coolest part of the design, to adjust the volume all you have to do is unfold part of the speaker, as you unfold and expand the speaker the volume level increases, want it quieter? Just fold a few sections of the speaker up and you’re good to go. Ok, now that I’ve gotten you all excited about these nifty speakers – they are just a concept. From the looks of other designs produced byYanko Design, this would fit nicely into their line up. Fingers crossed we see these speakers sooner rather than later. What do you think of these speakers?
